BLOCK MOVE AND UNBLOCK SCENARIO

Hello Experts

Please tell me if I am correct:

material is defective block via Mvt 344

material is to be moved from one location to another via Mvt 311 (Here is TO necessary in the move from move to function)

material is to be eventually unblocked via Mvt 343

a. Is this process correct??

b. how can they all be executed as either QM or WM or is this possible?

My issue is I have only one or the other to choose to physically do it.......

Hi

a) Mvt type 343: Blocked to unrestricted/ another storage location. 344 is reverse of that. 311 is for storage location to storage location, both locations are having unrestricted use stock.

b) In QA32 stock posting tab, You will find options like unrestricted usage, block, etc.

This process is correct when you are using the WM along with QM.

This can work without WM also by IM -T code like MB1b-->344

Then you can also transfer material using Mb1b-->311 -

Hi,

You can configure scenarion in QM

If you want to move the stock to BLOCKED stock , yoy can do it while taking the UD-QA11.

if you reject while taking the UD it will move to Blocked stock.

You can move stock from Blocked to Unrestricted stock through MB1B -T-code using 343 movt type

Or you can return to vendor from blocked stock also.
