Hi all,
I want to understand that in which all senario we use value contrat?
Hi,
The value contract is an outline agreement between you and your customer. It
states that your customer agrees to purchase a fixed dollar amount of goods
and services during the defined period.
The value contract can contain other agreements between you and your
customer that are checked in the release orders, such as special price
agreements, customer restrictions, or material restrictions.
If you have a contract with your customer and you create a sales order without
referring to a contract, you can set the system to automatically propose a
contract. This is activated in Customizing for the document type (Contract
messages field).
In the value contract, you can refer to lists of materials that have already
been defined. This list could be a product hierarchy or a assortment module.
However, you also create a value contract for only one material (for example,
a configurable material).
I would also recommend you to go to www.help.sap.com to search for the relevant documentation.
Best regards,
Smile
