Can we use ChaRM for performing regular transports in the landscape.

If so, what should be the project type?

Based upon the requirement you can create a

Implementation project

or

maintenance project

both support CHARMS

it is all upto requirement of your project

Hi,

Based on what I read, Maintenance project cycle ends every 3 months and all the changes will go to production at the end of cycle and of course there is emergency transport as well.

Our project is in support stage. we move transports to production once in every week, and we also do some emergency transports each day. I am just wondering how I should use ChaRM here.

Hi

In that case you can use maintenance project

and move the phases of the cycle from Development with release to Go live during release every week

and set it back after you release is complete
