Are contracts considered in APO demand planning

Hi,

I came across a document that says short term and long term contracts can be considered in demand planning while doing forecast.

How do we consider contracts in APO DP? do we have any setting for that?

Hi ,

I do not think short term or long term contracts will have any role to play in demand planning.

In Demand Planning, we get sales/ demand history, correct it, and run statistical forecasting process to generate forecast.

We have promotion planning and other process likes phase in / phase out, like modeling for new products and expiring products.

We have functions for adding marketing intelligence and finally we finalized demand plan and release to APO SNP or other systems.

Contracts with suppliers may have role in sourcing in APO SNP.
