Hello,
I 'm installing SAP Solution manager 7.0 on Linux SUSE 11 and Oracle 10G Release 2 (10.2.0.4).
In import ABAP phase when installing SAP SOLMAN using sapinst , system try to connect to database but give us an error:
CONNECT failed with sql error '12541' DbSl Trace: OCI-call 'OCIServerAttach' failed with rc=12541
What is the best way to find a solution for this problem.
Best Regards.
Zied.
Hi - This is because there is not enough "swap space" to import abab. Either increase the Swap space or Increase the RAM. Problem should be solved. Thanks.

Hi,
I think the oracle service is not up and running in ur system.
CONNECT failed with sql error '12541' DbSl Trace: OCI-call 'OCIServerAttach' failed with rc=12541
Check whether the oracle services and the DB is up and running. If no, then start the services and the DB and then continue the installation.
