regarding mapping

hi guru,

i am doing file------bapi scenario.

file side is file adapter and bapi side thinking for rfc or proxy.

if i used proxy i need to import the baoi in to ir and do the mapping ,

or i have to create external structure the same as bapi structure in ir,

please guide me.

Use proxy at target side, create structure as BAPI Structure & create Proxy at R/3 system.

For posting that data into system, use that BAPI in Proxy Code.

Hi MS,

Import BAPI in to PI,then take XSD for the BAPI and Create External definition and add this XSD,then you will BAPI Structure.

creating manually is bit tedious job.

if you are going for RFC as receiver then use imported BAPI ,no need external def.
