PGI failed due to opening period

Hi experts

I tried to post delivery, but it said " this posting period is only open in 1998/3 for company code 0001 :. I go to ob52 and try to extend.But one item 0001 + has the account assigned , I can't extend the period from 2000 to 2010

It said " Do not enter an account number for a masked account type" .

So what I can do to open this period? Thanks a lot

Please use tcode MMPV to close the current period and open the next period.

You have to close and open the period one by one. (e.g. close 1998/3, open 1998/4, -> then close 1998/4, open 1998/5 -> then.....)
