Hi all experts and gurus
We have a problem with the SAP BI instance in iSeries 525.
iSeries had a problems (disk controller card) and reinstall the operating system, then the folders /usr/sap... had another owner and we have to change to user: R3OWNER. The ABAP instance correct, but JAVA instance not start, the last weekend the system work fine but today not start.

We need your support please for resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance

Hi Enrique,
sounds as if the jdbc drivers exist... now it's difficult for me to say anything more from the information I have.
Have you opened a ticket with SAP?
Best regards
Christoph

Hi Enrique,
I recommend to check SAP note 1096017. This note provides very good information how to solve problems with saposcol processes that don't start correctly.
Best regards
Christoph

I check the system and did not find the folder in the IFS, you know how to create and start the instance of JAVA?, I need your help. Only currently active instance of ABAP.
db2_classes.jar file exist in the system
Only exist in /sapmnt/SBD/jdbc inthis path exist two subfolder ntv with file db2_classes.jar and subfoder tbx with file jt400.jar.
Best regards.

Hi Enrique,
this looks like problems with the DB connection. Seems you're using the native JDBC driver. Then check if your JDBC driver link exists:
/usr/sap/SBD/SYS/jdbc/ntv/db2_classes.jar
This link should point to /QIBM/ProdData/OS400/Java400/ext/db2_classes.jar which obviously must exist as well.
Best regards
Christoph

I'll review the issue of JDBC driver.
The system is working correctly after executing the command FIXR3OWNS.
However, when SAP started, I had to finish the process SAPOSCOL because other jobs will not start in the subsystem R3_00.
Subsystem R3_01 processes are well.
After initiating the process in ST06 SAPOSCOL. But this is not normal, what else I can check?
Thank you very much for your support.
Hi Enrique,
as for the issue with CHGR3SYSLE that was seen in the log, I recommend to run FIXR3OWNS on your kernel library (SAPSBDUC) as a QSECOFR like user.
And regarding Java I can't see anything from your logs. Is there a JCONTROL process? e.g. dev_jcontrol file?
Best regards
Christoph

Thanks Christhop, I run FIXR3OWNS LIB(SAPSBDUP>) OBJ(ALL)* and process finally OK.
