How to set up "MII virtual xacute data server connection"?

We need the instructions for how to set up "MII virtual xacute data server connection".

We have 4 sites and each site has one SAP MII 12.1 server installed. Site A has the connection to a local Oracle database (ABC) and this site also has sets of BLS manipulating ABC data retrieval and transformation. We want to set up the other 3 sites to retrieve the ABC data via the site A using the same sets of BLS.

The advantage is that the validation to ABC BLSs will only be needed at site A. The other sites will only validate the virtual connection.

Hi Leey,

please have a look at the [SAP Help on Virtual Servers|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/EN/45/23f10b6fb103c3e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm].

- in your 3 remote sites, create a new Virtual Xacute Data server

- enter the server name in field IP

- enter the correct port, usually 50000

- enter credentials for site A (RemoteLoginName/Password)

To use the connection, create a XacuteQuery with the new Virtual Xacute Server. In the Transaction Details section, you can select the transaction from the available transactions on site A.
