Batch Search Strategy

Hi all,

I want to carry out picking of about 1000 materials for a production order via transaction CO27.

I've maintained batch search strategy using transactions COB1 and MBC1. But during batch determination, the system brings up this error:

No search strategy could be found.

Is there some other setting I left out?

Have you checked tx OPL8 - Assign search proceduro to production order?

Dear

The production orders should have the Batch search procedure assigned if batch managed materials are used in production.

OPL8 is the transaction to add the serahc procedure for your production order type& plant combination.

In case no Batch search procedure has been defined then first define the batch search procedure in OPLG and then assign it.

Thanks a lot.

I've already defined the Batch search procedure using Batch number as the condition type. And i've also specified this procedure for the production order type. The error is still there.
