SAP printer issue in windows 7

HI Gurus,

I was using windows XP and I had a local printer HP Officejet 7413 printer using SAP GUI 7.10 and I was able to print from SAP, now I have a new laptop running windows 7 and I can not print from sap but i can print normal ms documents.

I upgraded my GUI to 7.20 still it didnt work.These are printer settings on SAP

Device type: SWIN

access method: G

host printer: Default.

Just for the records, I could solve it by changing access method of output device from F to G.

Hi,

Firstly welcome to SDN !!!!!

Please refer the Note 1412821 - SAP GUI for Windows: Support on Windows 7 and also would suggest to apply SAP GUI 7.20 with latest patches. Would suggest you to try by changing the Device Type to SAPWIN or any HP laserjet and make the access method to F.

Check with above options and revert.

Hi Sharath,

Thanks for the reply, I have applied the changes you mentioned and I can print from SAP but not in color only in black and white and the format lines or column on the report do not appear. Thank you
