lookup table record deletion

Hi Experts,

getting error while deleting lookup table records.

"The records canot be deleted because one more records in another table have a field set to the values, you are attempting to delete".

I removed all the lookup field values in records in main table for that lookup table records.

even after deleting values in Main table/other tables for lookup field. its throwing error.

How to delete lookup table values which are initally used in main table & currently not using in Main table records.

Hi Kiran,

In main table, also check carefully the fields which are lookup to Qualified tables. May be in these qualified tables you have a field as Non-qualifier/Qualifier which is look up to this lookup table records and that's why its throwing error while deleting.

Hi Kiran

1. Please check if the lookup table record is used in any of the qualified table for any records.

2. Please also check if any checked out records are using this Lookup table value. You can find such records with Admin login and free form search. To delete such records you will need to join the checkout, do checkin or roll back and then delete the lookup value from them.

3. Check tuples as well if they are using the same Lookup table value.

Hi Kiran,

Kindly check any lookup value are displaying in free form search, or utilized lookup value by other fields & Table, any value assign to name search, mask, workflow

also make sure your records should not in checkout mode

Note : above mention point check with admin user
