is SAP PI/XI licensing based on number of messages or based on message server?

Hi,

it is not based on number of messages,suppose if you are integrating SAP and NON SAP System, how much data going to Third party systems using PI will be considered. based on this SAP will charge.

What about volume of incomming data into PI from Non-SAP systems. will it be charged aswell?

I came to know from SAP that apart from data volume with third party systems there are other factors which will impact licensing cost. am i correct?

Yes you are correct..!!

The data coming to PI using Third Party System will not consider as per my knowledge.
