ECP for Network

Hello,

I try to plan on Network Activities with ECP, however, although I configured all necessary customizing yet I cannot see any NWA on the ECP GUI.

This problem was allready discussed and solved at this forum but non of the suggestions help me to solve it.

The required configuration steps I allready made:

1. Activate planning for network activities with ECP

2. Define CO version for ECP

3. Activate multiple CO version

4. Define Alternative CO version

The network contained a costing variant for planning

Did u activate the ECP for activities??...check below configuration.

Planned Cost ->Easy Cost Planning and Execution Services->Easy Cost Planning->Activate Planning for Network Activities with Easy Cost Plan

From where did you get the ECP can be used for Networks activities?

Venkat, read EHP3 documents for Project System. ECP for network is available from EHP3.

Make note of your control key of the activity, then goto OPSU, open your control key settings, and check whether "Cost" box is ticked or not. If it is not ticked, you will not see those activities in ECP screen.

"Cost" box is active at the activity's control key.

I will be glad for more ideas for solving this issue.

Nir, I am not sure, but try this, goto OPSC, tick the check box "Planning" for your network type and then create a new project with the activities(using that network type) and then execute ECP and see.

Thank you Ahmed for your efforts, however, I have tyried your suggestion but NWA still not appears.

I have openned an OSS to SAP support about this issue and if I get a solution I will update this thread.

Sure I will be glad to an additional ideas.

Yes I do. I get The WBS's for costing on the GUI screen but the NWA's are not appears.

Hello colleagues,

I finnally got an answer from SAP support about this issue.

The answer is very simple and was sliped away from my mind...

Activity Account assignment have to be activated. in the case of header assignment ECP planning method cannot be implemented.
