question about USMM: SSCR keys related

Hi All,

I met a problem when using USMM.

When I excute user classification, I found some users with SSCR key are not developer,

so I deleted their SSCR registrations from SAP Support Portal,

but after that, I can still see they are with SSCR key in user classification.

And a related question, should I check this in development system or in production system?

I check them both, and in both of them I can still see they are with SSCR key in user classification.

Please give some advice if someone know it.

Hi,

This occurs because the users have registered themselves as the developers. You can remove the developer access key by deleting the corresponding entry in the DEVACCESS table.

Delete the access keys in DEVACCESS and execute the USMM report once again.

I also found SSCR key data in production system and QAS system.

(our system landscape are 3 system structure: development, QAS, production ).

Should I also delete the data in them?

Is it neccessary to delete the SSCR key user record from Sap Support Portal ?

In general, no changes should be allowed in QAS and the PRD servers. So, as a good pracice we should not have the users registered as developers in the QAS ans PRD.

If you are sure that the developers are no longer with ur firm, you can remove their developer key from SAP SMP. For ur reference in future, u better have the list of developers from the SAP SMP for ur firm and then delete them in SAP SMP.
