Dear all,
I am new to MI. I am in the process of creating a jsp page that I would have to demo it via a mobile device. The current version of MI, I have at my disposal is MI 7.1(only ABAP stack).
1. I have read some threads and figured out that a dual stack is not necessary for MI 7.1, is this true?
2. If it is, then how do I integrate the jsp that I create with MI (any blogs would be really handy)
3. There is no EP system involved, does this mean, there would be an SSO possible in my scenario.
4. Is it that I have to inegrate my jsp to the backend ECC via rfcs?
5. On the mobile device do I have to install the client, or I could use the webconsole?
Appreciate your time and effort.
Thanks and regards,
Sandeep Tudumu
For MI7.1 dual stack is not necessary.
From MI7.1, we are supporting only migration of JSP Applications which are already created in MI7.0.
On MI7.1 we recommend to create eSWT application using 'Mobile Application for Handhelds' plug-in in NWDS, which internally uses webdynpro.
On the Mobile device, we have to install the eSWT client and run this application.
Thanks and Regards,
Suma
