error while createing a bid

hi gurus

when I m trying to create a bid from vendors log in . I m getting a error

enter exactly one partner of type bidder.

what could be the problem ??

its in SRM 7.0 ( upgradation)

Hi Nitinkk,

The error shows when you havn't added any good bidder on the RFx document. Although the RFx documenttype maybe 'public' it still requires you to at least invite and add a minimum of 1 bidders per RFx document.

Edit the RFx via a purchaser -> add a bidder -> publish. Check whether a bid response can be created now.

Thanks for your reply

But the problem is that we r transferring a bid ( RFQ) from ECC system with the vendor defined in it , and the bid is restricted only.

we change it in purchasers login ( date and submission deadline etc.) and then publish it .

so there should not be an issue of entering the vendor again ( by default it is there in bid )

ours is upgrade form SRM 5 to SRM 7.
