Regarding Standard Ireland Address iView

HI,

We have implemented ESS for Ireland. For the Addresses iView, when we try to edit Permanent Address, the Address Line 1 is shown as mandatory and Address Line 3 is not Mandatory. When I leave Address Line 1 as blank which is mandatory there is no error message, If the Address Line 3 which is not mandatory is left blank, we are getting the error message. We deployed the EAR file for standard again and still its the same. When we opend the iView using NWDI, all the properties are fine.

Kindly advice. how to fix this.

When you say the field is "is shown as mandatory" do you mean there is an asterisk

Even if an asterisk is showing the field has to be marked as mandatory or optional (whatever is required)

in both V_T588M AND V_T588MFPROPS to ensure the business logic check is the same

In addition to this some fields are dependant on other fields or may be concatenated or an integral part of the model dataset

therefore some fields might have to be mandatory or optional together rather than separately
