Where is the node function:SOAP Lookup

Hi:

I can see the SOAP Lookup exists in SAP BASIS 7.11 when i define parameter in Operation Mapping.

But in Message Mapping,i can just find node functions of JDBC Lookup and RFC Lookup without SOAP Lookup,it can only be

used in UDF?

We dont have any standard function for SOAP look up, i thinkUser defined function is the option.but when you create a parameter in signature tab it showing type SOAP.

FYI I guess SAP is looking to release a SOAP Lookup function in graphical mapping soon

I recently created sceanrios using RFC and JDBC standard functions wihtin Message Mapping but for SOAP, user defined fucntion was needed and hence created a udf. So only way for SOAP lookup is UDF

I think you are right, I could not find node function for SOAP lookup in PI 7.1.

I recently need to do SOAP lookup, so need to go for UDF only to create SOAP req message and parsing SOAP response and mapped to target field.
