Hi Expert,

When I run t-code SE10 or SE09, got message:

Global information cannot be read

Message no. PU823

Diagnosis

The global information could not be read for user LSOPICKI.

This may be caused by the following:

Operating system file
SAPBWD01\sapmnt\trans\sapnames\LSOPICKI is read-protected

Directory in which it is searched for does not exist or is write-protected

System Response

The function terminates.

Procedure

Inform your system administrator about this problem, giving the file name (
SAPBWD01\sapmnt\trans\sapnames\LSOPICKI), the name of the SAP system (BWD), and the host name (sapbwd01 ).

Object owner is someone else so change the owner of object.

GOTP ---> Object directory entry ---> person responsible

Since there was no answer to this issue, here is my personal solution.

I had a similar problem and i added sapnames under usr/sap/trans with the right authorities and it solved my problem.

Also check the usr/sap/trans authorities
