Can more than 9 tax types be defined for a country in OVK1 ?

Hello experts,

I have read all documentation on the settings for tax determination. However, nowhere I could find answer to my question:

"Can more than 9 tax types be defined for a country in OVK1 ?"

In OVK1, we can define more than 1 tax type for a country using sequence. But the sequence field is having length of 1 numeric field.

If I am having a requirement of assigning more that nine tax types to a particular country, how do I do it? I presume it is not possible and I will have to find some other solution.

Please advise. Highly appreciate your help.

I totally agree with your point.

There is not allowed to maintain exceed 9 items for each country.

I just checked the Table: TSTL and its related programs.

I found two programs MV45AF0T_TSTL_SELECT & MV60AF0T_TSTL_SELECT .

You can take help from ABAPer to change it for your requirement.

I need this for country INDIA.

We have already setup 9 tax types...and there is a requirement for a new tax type.

You mean to say, you have maintained the condition type JTX1 to JTX9 in OVK1 ??

No. We are having customized condition types. We have used those for sequence numbers 1 to 9.

Can I use sequence as '0'. I am doubtful if '0' is a valid entry.

It doesnt give me any error if I create a entry as " IN 0 Ctyp ".

But will the programs consider an entry having zero as sequence number?
