Expand Field in SAP Script

Dears.

I have invoice with material names in table part.

If name of material is long - the system cut it and print out goes with part of name.

How can I expand printing the material name to next line if it does not fit in the line?

Thanks for reply, but it is a workaround.

In this case it works but if I have such problem in future?

Is it possible in general? I mean to print text field in 2 lines if the text is long and does not suit the one line.

Hi,

even if you have a long text for the materials.. maintain the short names only. inorder to look your form good.. for that waht you have to do is maintain the variables in such way irrespective of the length of the material name.

I.e : Itab-maktx it will gives you the desription of the material..

if i want to print only the 10 letters of the description irrespective of the lenghth of the descriptrion..

I can write the variable &itab-maktx(10)&.. so it will print the 10 charecter of the text..
