Rescheduling should not take into account the activity confirmed date

Dear PS gurus,

If you confirm the activity later then the latest date of your activity and you reschedule then the system moves all the activities backwards.

Example

Act 1 -> act 2 -> act 3 -> act 4

16/08 17/08 23/08 30/08 = latest date

You confirm act 2 on the 24/08 instead of 17/08. You reschedule then the system postpone act 3 and act 4 with 1 week.

We want that the system doesnu2019t touch the dates of activity 3 and 4.

what are settings needs to be done to achieve this?

Regards,

AHS.

Hi, Just check tcode OPU6 and there is an option "Shift Order". Select this check box and see if that resolve the issue.

For partial confirmed activities, you can achieve your requirement by shift order function, for details read SAP Help.

For fully confirmed activities, actual dates will be considered during rescheduling. If you dont want the system to change the successor activities dates, then simply dont reschedule your project.

Yes you can not avoid automatic scheduling but as told above just click the "Shift Order" indicator in scheduling parameters.
