SAP kernel vs btools vs oracle version

we have some questions,

1. sap ecc ehp4 ready sr1 version, is use kernel 7.01 version, can i upgrade to 7.2 version?

2. can upgrade brtools version from 7.00 to 7.2 ?

3. sap ecc ehp4 ready sr1 version, can use oracle 11.2 version on aix, windows, hp-ux?

No .. check the PAM for details.

Yes.

Yes .. if you upgrade to oracle 11.2 you have to use 7.20 BR*Tools to get the full range of functions.

sorry , just copy brtools 7.2 version to /sapmnt/<SID>/exe folder, is right?

have any requirement(like kernel version...)?

Yes - and execute "./saproot.sh <SID>" as user root.

i replace brtools 7.2 version on windows, get error "application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect......."

i use DBATL720O10_6-10007270.SAR file.

Check your windows event log. Most likely you'll see there an error like the one described in

Note 1402510 - Resolving SideBySide Assembly Errors

and hence you need to fix the ATL library by applying the Windows fix:

Note 1375494 - SAP system does not start after applying SAP kernel patch
