Hi Sap Gurus,
What is JIT and ASN,and when are they used in Sales & Distribution.
Ramesh.
Hi Ramesh,
Please mention the proper subject.Then only it will help community members/experts to look into this thread.
Regarding your question :
JIT and ASN:
JIT -> Just in Time -> http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/17/da22da96e411d194fa00a0c9306667/frameset.htm
ASN -> advance Shipment notification
Use in SD: i have a scenario: I have worked on it in IS-A area.
Create useful master data :Like vendor master, material master ,customer master.
Steps:
1) Set up the partner Profile in WE20 .Set up inbound /outbound parameters there. mesg type to be used are DELINS/DELJIT , DESADV.
2) create condition records in NACE . for apllication (EL(o/p type-> LPJ1) and V2(o/p type -> LAVA))
Now Flow is like:
1)Create scheduling agreement ME31L.(maintain the confirmation control key = 0004),manitain the scheduling line s in ME38.
2) Create Sales order/scheduling agreement (LZ/LZJ) VA31.put this
PO /Scheduling agreement no there.and maintain the schedule lines there too.
3) Create the outbound delivery against the salesorder/scheduling agreement.
once you do the post goods issue ,the outbound IDoc will generate and check this is WE02 transaction.
a corresponding inbound IDoc will be there which has created the inbound delivery with itself.
Check the scenario.
Regards,
Nisha
