How to control the version of documents?

<h4>In our project, for creating the blueprint file , we use MS-WORD documentsfor business print, not edit contents in the solution manager editor. we upload the word format document to the business process node. therefore, how to control the version of the business print?and for global template, serveral site blueprints ,how to control the versions for these doucuments ? such word,visio files.</h4>

Hi

You can use the check in/check out functionality of solution manager

Choose the document and click check out button and save on local desktop

now modify in ms word

other users if try to make changes they cant and get an error message that user (user id ) is modifying the documet and will open the the document in display mode

Last after updation the user who was modifying again check in the document from local desktop

If goto history tab -


of any document in Attribtes tab it comprieses of all the versions automatically
