How to restrict quantity like cost

Cane we restrict on quantity, as we do the cost with budget functionality. If yes, pl. explain how to do.

I agree with Nitin, SAP doesn't have the functionality to manage the project cost based on quantity (not value)

AFAIK, there's no ERP system that has this functionality (unless it's customized), CMIIW

Thanks for detail. We can make control of project cost through budget functionality. Similarly how we can make restrctions of goods movement, for example- in terms quantity not in terms of cost.

According to me what is speical need based on quantity cost control. If you wanted to control via Quantiity than you can create PO for only required quantity and if you not sure of requried quantitiy than make annual of period contract use it for your requirement.

I think budget control based on quantity is not there.
