Quota arrangement violation for SNP Optimizer

I am running snp optimizer, but it does not consider quota arrangement where there is more than 1 demand. For example suppose I have demand in SNP planning book in bucket from January 2011 to December 2011. Our SAP SCM version is 5.10.

If there is a single demand suppose in any monthly bucket e.g., Feb 2011 as 100 and quota maintained for this product is 30:70 for 2 PPMs of this product maintained at two resouces, then after running the optimizer it considers the quota and split the demand as 30 and 70.

But when I have demand in more than one bucket e.g., for January 2011 and Feb 2011 as 100 each, then quota is not considered and quota arrangement is violated.

Please note I have maintained the cost for quota violation as 9999. I am using the PPMs as source of supply. There are no Transportation lanes in this scenario.

Could anyone please help me in this regard, if they have faced similar issue before?

so what is the solution for this then ? Is it a hard stop as in SNP-Opt cannot use quota arrangement ?

It did't help. I have heard from someone that in SAP APO 5.1 quota is considered for SNP optimization.

Quota arrangement is a soft constraint for SNP optimizer, thus we can say that it is not consider for SNP optimization always.
