Installation of SAP with Oracle and Linux

Hello to all,

I have 2 questions about SAP installation on Linux with Oracle.

Oracle DBMS will be installed with SAPinst or we must install it independently ?

Oracle client package for Oracle 10G is dependant of plattform I386, X86_64 or not ?

Oracle DBMS will be installed with SAPinst or we must install it independently ?

In initial SAP Installation Run , you will be prompted to Install Oracle DBMS in separate session. You will have to install Oracle DBMS manually in different session. Then after completing that action you will have to Continue installation run.

Yes. Oracle client package is OS Platform dependent.
