Desginer command line logon for SAP

Hi,

I need to create batch file to auto login to Desginer.

designer.exe -system hostname -user "BWP~100/BWID" -pass pwd -auth R3

SAP IK

When I use Enterprise authentication, it works fine.

But when I try to use SAP authentication, it never works

Error Msg -

I tried user for "BWP~100/BW-ID" and "BW-ID".

I tried auth for R3,SAP,SAPR3,secSAPR3... Nothing of them is available.

Can you confirm that an interactive logon using the specific SAP credentials works wihtout a problem?

Hey here,

Are you doing in Server Machine or Client machine (BO client tools)??

Client:

1. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

2. Hosts file

3. Open with notepad

4. at the end : add server name <spaces> ip address of that server

Eg: My server name: BODEV & ip: 10.45.179.9

Hosts file:

BODEV 10.45.179.9

5. Save and Close
