Message Archiving and Deletion

Hi Experts,

For message archiving and deletion, there are two options available.

1. Directly schedule the archiving and deletion in Integration Engine.

2. Another way, configuring as background jobs using RSXMB_ARCHIVE_MESSAGES and RSXMB_DELETE_ARCHIVED_MESSAGES reports

However, i would like know the difference between these two steps and the recommended approach.

RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES

SAP_BC_XMB_HIST_DELETE
