No feature combination exists for the selection specified (Sales Order)

Hi All,

We are implement product allocation in our project, and we have an issue like this.

"No feature combination exists for the selection specified" When i created sales order.

Message no. VQ229

Can any one tell us the where is the issue.

Hi,

Check Customer static group maintained in customer master -sales tab

It b'coz product allocation is not carried out.

So,

- Maintain the planning hierarchy for info structure in flexible plannig.

- Check your Customizing settings for controlling product allocation. An invalid object may have been used.

Also, refer following SAP Notes for understanding:

177523 - VQ229 during product allocation check

109879 - Allocations: collective product allocat. not found

89760 - Product alloc.:collect. product alloc. not found

161844 - Allocations:Confirmatn f.missng characteristic vals

322581- Allocations: Problems creating several items

115674 - Allocations: Characteristic values are empty

i would like to clearly my question. This is the scenario.

I have 2 customers.

The First one, i need that customer include in product allocation. But the second one, i don't need include in product allocation.

So, when i create an order using the second customer, it will be show the information :

No feature combination exists for the selection specified.

And the confirmation of sales order will be "0" quantity.

Do you have any advise what should i do?

Error says:

No feature combination exists for the selection specified

Analysis:

The features for searching the planning hierarchy are filled from the current order.

The first feature of the planning hierarchy is the product allocation object, it is determined with the product allocation procedure from the material master.

You have maintained the product allocation in Basic data of material master.

The system started searching the hierarchy using feature combination <>.

In the planning hierarchy of info structure , no suitable entry could be found for the order. No suitable colletive product allocation entries were found either.So check this may be problem could be arided from this data.
