Request more informatiion about parameter "suspendSender"

Dear all experts,

I am preparing NetWeaver PI Disaster Recovery testing. In order to test

PI Disaster Recovery Server while not impact production envrionment, I

need to prevent File Sender Adapter and JDBC Sender Adatper from

polling data from external production system such as FTP server or

External database system. I came across to find the

parameter "suspendSender" in configtool for file adapter and jdbc

adapter. However, I can not find any more detailed help information

from SAP notes or SAP help portal.

Please kindly suggest more description about the "suspendSender"

parameter, what is the effect to set "suspendSender" to "true" and what

is the side effect?

I don't know what this parameter menas, but I suggest to stop all sender communication channels in communication channel monitor.
