Selection Filters Not Working on RWB Index Administration

Former Member

Hi

We have set up Selection Filters to restrict the indexing of XI messages according to the specified selection criteria (such as interface name)

The filters are working fine in QA, but they are not working in production.

As a result none on the messages are being indexed by TREX.

Any ideas on the possible cause of error?

The selection filters were sent according to the suggestions provided here:

Thanks.

[Help section|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/43/6030fae92f5f87e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm] says that

u25CF You have set up the communication between your components (Integration Engines and Adapter Engines) and the
TREX server.

Check if same config is maintained for both the servers (QA and PROD).

Hi Abhishek,

Thanks for the response.

The index works fine when I don't put any selection filters. Indexing is not happening when I use selection filters. The problem is not with connectivity.

Looks like a programming error to me. If using XI 7.0, check SAP Note 1228316 - TREX Indexing: no XI Messages from Adapter Engine indexed.

hi Roshni,

I guess you are right.

We use XI 3.0. SAP is working to provide the same patch on XI 3.0.
