IDocs successfull or error processing

hi all;

i have a scenario where in i have to put in data in IDoc and after IDocs successfull or error processing i have to update an ODS table with error or success message.

if i am using an application ack ic IDoc send step then its working fine for successfull IDoc processing but in case of error in Idoc the rest of steps in BPM are not getting executed.

Can anyone help.

Is there a field of the Payload (ack) that you are checking for further process?

no we are not checking any field in IDoc

is there a field in IDoc control segment which gets updated on its successfull processing ??

You can use this for hadling application Acknowledgements for IDOC.
