Dear all,
While sending mail, the status is showing in green but the user is not receiving the mail in the mailbox. The same mail when sent to other user we obtain the result is expected and they are receiving the mails.
Please suggest me as hot face with this issue.
Help is highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Piyush

Hello,
We had a similar problem.
The problem was the sendmail conf. at unix level, that wasn't using the right mail relay server. It's probabely a domain concern.
Please ask unix & mail team to verify sendmail conf ( if you're under unix )

Vince

Hello Piyush,
Can you ask your Email Server Teams to check whether the user's mailbox (who has a problem) is okay?
Its quite possible that the user's mailbox is full and the mailbox settings are such that emails are bouncing.
Have you tried send email to the user's mailbox from any other NON SAP System/ email client?

Siddhesh

hi Piyush,
Please check the email address of the user is correct or wrong...
and u can also set up the NOTIF_DEL = 'X' in the receiver structure before you pass to the function module ,so that you will get
a return receipt to the person who sent a mail.
In SCOT, double click on the SMTP, and then click on the SET button beside the Internet check box,and see what domains are maintained.
let me know your observations
Hi,
Are you sending to an external mail address ? In SOST what is the status of the sent message that is not being received ?
If the status is showing as sent(without error) then you need to look for the problem outside of SAP eg your external SMTP server and possibly external user account settings(spam, correct address etc).
