ServletExec Error: "failed to parse servletexec.xml"

Hi All,

I have a problem in starting ServletExec in SAP xMII 11.5. While running StartServletExec.bat, it is throwing u201CServletExec: failed to parse servletexec.xmlu201D error. So if I am trying to access MII through web browser, it is showing HTTP error 404.

I referred to the following forum posts, which have similar problem

I checked the access to servletexec.xml. The user has access to the file. Still it is showing the error. Does any one any idea about resolving this issue?

Use the service to start servlet exec. Make sure that you don't have mutliple java process running in the task manager.

Thanks Jamie, The problem solved.

The actual issue was, even though the user has access to "ServletExec AS" folder, he doesnu2019t have access to some Jar files in it. That's why servletexec failed to start. After giving access permission to the Jars, every thing went fine.
