Installing JVM 1.5 using jce_policy-1_4_2?

Hi Experts,

I will be installing JVM 1.5 using jre-1_5_0_22-windows-amd64.exe that i downloaded from this link http://java.sun.com/products/archive/ . Should I also download new version of jce_policy? or is it alright to use our current jce_policy which is jce_policy-1_4_2? Should i also pattern the version of jce_policy with the version of jvm/jre?

Download JCE for 1.5 if you use 1.5

Hi Tony,

JCE Policy should be same as JVM. for JVM to avoid any inconsistency.
