You are going to have to give us more information than that.

If there is a <installation directory>\SAPVIEW.log paste it here please.

Nainesh, for 32bit Operating Systems(which you told me you are using) there are special instructions for installing IDES. Please check SAP Note 1379040 - "IDES ERP 6.0 ECC 6.0 incl. EHP4" ..and make sure you have followed the instructions. There should also be a Readme.txt file on the first Export DVD with further instructions which you must read.

If the database would be stopped, how should any programm insert data into it? So no, the database has to be kept running.

As I said - please check (and post) the file SAPVIEW.log.

It seems that R3load has a problem connecting to the database.

So this means, that there is a problem connecting to the database.

when i am using R3trans -d command in CMD its giving me following message.

'R3trans' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file.

So,What is the problem?

You're logged on as <sid>adm, right? Do not use administrator.

So, insteda of administrator which user i can use for windows user? i have not created any other user.

As I said, use <sid>adm, where <sid> is the system name you gave.

I highly suggest you read the installation guides, those are really basic informations, without them, you will be hopefully lost.

I have given sys name as DEV.

Hi Nainesh,

When you installed SAP its create one user <SID>adm

In your case that user is devadm

Login with this user, if u dont know the password you can reset it from Computer Management.

I suggest you please refer Installation guide first and then go for fresh installation.

Best Regards,

Dhananjay.
