database import/export

hi

We are doing non unicode SRM 3.0 System upgrade from 620 basis / Abap patch level 28 to SRM 7.0 on NW 7.01 SP 06. non unicode

From SRM 3.0 to 7.0 is two stage upgarde from SRM 3.0 --> SRM 5.0-non-unicode --> SRM 7.00-non unicode

we have export the database (SRM 7.0 on NW 7.01 SP 06) for unicode conversion

we have successfully export the data but when we have import the data means when provide the export data location

showing in checking phase:= oracle database exist :false

due to this reasion we have not gotten a screen drop database and create ,could you please advise

Just for my clarification: you are starting the import using sapinst, right? En when providing the destination of the exported files, you get the error "oracle database exist :false". Is this correct?

Can you post the exact error message that you get? And have you first dropped the database on the system where you want to perform the import?
