Integration of Erec with External Vendors using XI

Hi Guys,

I have a scenario where I will be using XI to integrate Erec with external vendors using XI.

has anyone does this before?? what adapters do we use?? any guides?

Hi,

I dont have hands on experience on this...

but to do the data transfer to external vendor ...check for the SOAP adapter with security tokens...

but before this you need to check the firewall settings for ports openings...

The flow of the interfae will be..

erec - > XI -> Vendor portal..

Hi Teja,

Your question is very generic kindof. You can use a proxy or RFC (if you have) or an idoc. If you dont have any standard of this guys then you need to check with the functioanl guys how they are going to send the data like whether they are going to use any standard methods else they can create some customizations then you need to check with the abap guys what they hare going to use.

By Erec, do you mean E-Recruitment system? If yes, then you may use HTTP adapter to communicate with this system. Communication with external system would be dependent on the type of system.

since it is abap stack I thought the only options were IDOC/Proxy XI adapter.. can u pls thro light on this??
