SPAM problem with SP - DDIC_IMPORT

Hi, I'm running a SAP Netweaver 7.01.

The Spam version is 39, and the Kernel 94.

The Transports checks on STMS are ok.

We're trying to implement the Basis SP on SPAM transaction, but at the moment of importing the queue we get the following error:

Error in phase: DDIC_IMPORT

Reason for error: TP_FAILURE

Return code: 0012

Error message: A tool used by tp aborted

Any ideas or help?

Hi,

Please paste the error log here. Also, check the latest SLOG file in usr/sap/trans/tmp and paste the log over here so that we can check and help you out.

Also, check if there are any dumps in ST22 and see there are sufficient background process and job RDDIMPDP is scheduled correctly.

Hi Sharath,

I tried to look for the file in the location that you mentioned but it was empty. It seems that the transport for the SP is getting an error.

If I look into the transport errors of the SPAM this is what I get:

I am not sure about what error log you're talking about. Would you explain me where to find it?

RDDIMPDP seems to be running fine.

Hi,

First try by updating the R3TRANS and TP files and if that does not work then update the complete kernel to latest and after that start applying the patch. Before updating the files or kernel take a backup copy and then update.

Unknown table name:DD43T

This issue is a known problem which can be fixed(as already suggested) by updating R3trans.
