Hi
Check how much RAM is available for the SAP system. and check if their is sufficient swap space.
It looks like the problem is because of unavailable shared memory processes.
Check the above two and try to increase it, if possible.
Also try starting the system with the least configuration:
like 1 dialog wp, 1 enq, 1 btc, etc...
and see if that works..(for this change the startup parameters in the DEFAULT or INSTANCE PROFILE in /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile.
Hope that helps
thanks
Abhi

Sanjay,
Please make sure that
1) Your network connection is working fine either
MS-Loopback or LAN
2) There are no shared memory problems. Use this
command in command mode.
cd /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile
sappfpar check pf=<instant_profile>
instant_profile=<SID>_DVEBMGS00_<hostname>
o/p should be error free.If not it will suggest
you the optimal value for shared memroy
parameters like 'ipc/shm_psize_10'
and 'ipc/shm_psize_40'. Adjust these parameters
with suggest values and kick off the server.
3) Ports are configured correctly
in 'C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\services' file
sapms<SID> 36<system_number>/tcp
sapdp00 32<system_number>/tcp
sapgw00 33<system_number>/tcp
Please reward with points, if it is helpful.
Thanks,
Mohan

all Workprocesses died. please have a look at dev_w* trace files.
By the way, this is a typically support question which should be handled via http://service.sap.com.
SDN is not supposed to be an alternative support source for standard support questions.

Peter

Hello Sanjay!
Have a look in one of your WP's trace files.
As they all die the DISP is not the failing item, I suppose.
Also look into dev.ms

Rudi
