Unexpected violation count after import of rule set from GRC Dev to GRC Prd

Hello experts - We are on 5.3 SP10. We recently did a lot of work on our rule set in GRC Dev. Once we were satisfied with our results in GRC Dev, we used rule architect-utilities-export rules to save our rule set to a text file. In GRC Prd, we used rule architect-utlities-import rules to load this modified rule set. The rules were generated. We ran the full synch, BRA, Mgmt reports background in GRC Prd. So, both our GRC Dev and GRC Prd were synched to our SAP Prd environment and have the same rule set loaded. The problem is, while we see the same user and role counts, the violation counts in GRC Prd do not agree to the violation counts in GRC Dev. We have looked at rule set files from Dev and Prd in both excel and ultra edit and we cannot find any differences.

Has anyone experienced anything similar to this issue and if so, how did you resolve? Thanks!

Hi

yes, there are chances to show violations, since there might be users who are having access in prod but not in dev , infact they may have violations.

Hi Hari - I think you mis understood our issue. Both our GRC boxes are connected to SAP Production. The users and roles are the same. We have imported the same rule set, but the violation counts do not agree. Does that clarify?
