Wrong Time Zone for Posts

Even though I have updated the Business Card with details for new country where I am currently, whenever I make a reply to a thread the time which appears is from my old country.

i.e. My id created when I was in India and since now I am in UK, the same has been updated in the Business Card but the post timings still show up in IST.

Ideally it should display local timings !

Might be a caching issue, if you just changed it recently, check again tomorrow or so.

I too thought so but it's been couple of days after I made the update and hence opened the thread today

Hi Cintan,

There is actually no connection between what you entered at registration or via an update to your business card, and the forums date time stamp that you see. Those preferences are maintained separately. You will need to use the "Your Control Panel" link at the top of the forums page (has a little wrench icon next to it). Once in the forums control panel, you can update your local time zone.
