Fetch Vendor Material Price from catalog in background

We want to fetch the material price for a vendor from it;s catalog while doing external sourcing in MRP scenario, to validate the price of the material against the price which we are maintaining in a ZTABLE.

How is it possible to fetch that detail in the background without actually going to the vendor's site/catalog ?

please help.

Actually requirement is like....

There is Ztransaction which the end user can operate from ITS and also from SRM ECC SAP also.

We r using SRM5 ok

SO, now the client wants to add a button on this custom transaction say CATALOG ok.

so now whn user will click on this button, he should get all the catalogs which he is authorized to see, then from this list he can select any catalog/vendor.

1.So now... how to set up connection or how to go that vendor's site

Then the user will select any material, and will come back ok... so now the client wants to fetch the price of that material and update the price in a ZTable ok.. it;s simple. The problem is how to open the catalog and fetch the material details from that.

any fm's u know ???
