Data Integrity Issues

Hi All,

We are having an MDM repository in which we are facing issues in uploading new documents into the table.

The fatal error reported is

$$$ Fatal error(1303): The following DataIds apppear in pdc31124585_m000.A2i_Originals_8 but not in pdc31124585_m000.A2i_Data_Ex_8: 1900000000.

I have used the "Verify" and "Repair" options. The "Repair" option rectifies the error, however when we try to upload new document, the issue reoccurs.

Please advise.

I checked both the tables and found that data id 1900000000 is present in pdc31124585_m000.A2i_Originals_8 but not in pdc31124585_m000.A2i_Data_Ex_8:

Could you please let me know if deleting this record in the MDM table is safe and would not lead to any further issues?

Hi Maya,

I dont think it will cause any problem.

but better for safe side take a backup of yr repository and also before deleting the record please down yr repository also.

I never tried this but better try on unproductive repository and if it solve yr problem then do it on productive repository.

Hi Maya,

I feel you may correct this error by the method suggested by Sudhanshu.

But as you said this error occurs when you upload new document, so if you are running in a productive environment i would suggest to Open a Message with SAP and get a permanent solution or reason of error.

The method suggested above may increase downtime and also it is prone to error because of manual intervention in Database..

Please try this thing.

check in data base these two tables and check the DataId that are availble in both anf if you find some ids that available in

pdc31124585_m000.A2i_Originals_8 but not in pdc31124585_m000.A2i_Data_Ex_8: 1900000000 then please delete it from orignals.

Make sure that repository being unloaded when you are doing this.

Please try at yr end and revert back with your results.
