Need to pull user email

HI

I'm looking for a function module that gets me the EMAIL and PHONE NUMBER of the user and prints them out on may smartform

anyone know if there is one that works for this I've been playing with HR_FBN_GET_USER_EMAIL_ADDRESS but having some trouble getting it to work (little new at this stuff still) I got FDM_CUST_USER_NAME_READ_SINGLE to work just fine but the email one has some problems with some of the fields (still working on that) so i was curious if there was a different module i could use.

Hi,

I think it is better get email & phone data directly from infotype 105 (communication), since email address and phone number can be saved in different subtype.

You can get user PERNR using FM: HR_GETEMPLOYEEDATA_FROMUSER and after that read Infotype 105 using FM: HR_READ_INFOTYPE. For sample code how to use these FM, just use where use list tools.
