OSDB Migration using the migration monitor with dual stack

Hi

How can i use the migration monitor for dual Stack system. i knew that migration monitor use the R3LOAD. i never find using the JLOAD. how migration monitor export the Java.

Please advice me

The Java export is integrated in sapinst, migmon is only used for ABAP.

Hi Marus,

Thanks for your replay. i am not able to do the parallel export and import. i am starting the export and after 20 minutes i am starting the import. after import start then it saying that bad files ( using the Migration Monitor only).

how can i run the export and import parallel ?

Did you configure on both source and target system the shared "exchange directory"?

Read the documentation PDF that comes with migmon.sar, it has all necessary configuration options.

Hi Markus,

We are using the NFS filsystem. its mounted the two systems.

Can i know which ExchangeDir we need to use.

i saw two of them

1. NetExchangeDir

2. FtpExchangeDir

So assuming that you have not read the documentation (which you really should):

- You need to create a separate directory on the NFS where both systems have access

- you need to configure the export machine as "server" (read the docs!)

- you need to configure the exchange directory on both export and import migmon

3. Java Migration Monitor

4. Parallel Jload process enablement.

We are in NW 7.0 EHP2 SP03 version and we awant to do Parallel export/import of java stack alone.

Could not find jmigmon.sh.

Can you tell me from which Stack level this option is enabled to use jmigmon.
