SAP Netweaver CE 7.2 installation Error

Hi All,

I am getting this error on "Define Parameter" Step where Pre-requisites are checked.

1. Condition - Names of well-known groups

Severity - HIGH

Error - Checking the names of selected well-known groups. The following names were expected: "everyone, users, guests, power users". The following names were found: "not available". If they do not match, it is most probably because you are not using an English international version of Windows but a localized one instead. Only English international versions of Windows are supported. See also SAP Note 362379. (Updated 2005-06-24)

2. Condition - Swap Size

Severity - MEDIUM

Error - For the selected services at least 6068 MB swap space are recommended. Current value: 3264 MB. (Updated 2005-06-24)

Could you suggest me the steps to resolve these two errors.

Hi Divya

From the message that you have stated:

1- Seems that you are not using a English version of Windows Server. Then you must install another OS in English.

2- You have to increase the 'Paging File' on your Windows also known as 'Swap' on Unix systems...

Also these 2 questions could be avoided if you firstly check the prerequisites to install a SAP System. Please check the installation guides at service.sap.com/instguides
